In 1979 Jon Kabat-Zinn founded the Stress Reduction Clinic at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, where he adapted the Buddhist teachings on mindfulness and developed the Stress Reduction and Relaxation Program. The Wake Up guided meditations, learned from Jon Kabat-Zinn, will be the same formal meditation used in the Stress Reduction and Relaxation Program.
The corner stone of any meditation and wellness practice. These meditations are designed to help people enhance focus, better manage stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, chronic pain, terminal illness and a plethora of other human conditions.
Mindful Yoga is taught by Tracie Sokoloff. Tracie has been practicing yoga for more than 10 years. She completed her registered yoga instructor certification from the prestigious Yoga House in Pasadena, California.
Mindful yoga is designed for all experience levels. You can expect a thoughtful sequence of sun salutations, seated postures, standing postures, all guided with attention to the breath. Come experience this carefully crafted moving meditation.
